David Claerbout
David Claerbout’s (1969) artistic practice often employs sophisticated shots to question the notion of time, generally concentrating on a precise moment. His works present numerous temporal forms, including stretched, suspended, slowed, present and past time. The fragmentation of narrative solicits the viewer’s attention and allows him or her to experience time by making it almost visible.
