Cercle des collectionneurs

Established in 2021, at the initiative of the entrepreneur Norbert Becker, and with the support of the Honorary President of the Mudam Board of Directors, H.R.H. The Hereditary Grand Duchess, the Cercle des collectionneurs is a dynamic community of contemporary art enthusiasts.

Its mission is to provide support to Mudam in the following ways:

Enriching the Mudam Collection by acquiring significant works of contemporary art
Creating a unique and dynamic community of collectors and art enthusiasts in Luxembourg
Providing financial support to ensure the museum’s long-term growth and success
Inspiring future generations by encouraging philanthropic engagement

As of 2024, the Cercles des collectionneurs du Mudam consists of forty active members. Norbert Becker serves as its founding president, with the support of Christiane O’Donnell as vice president.

Good to know: Tax deductibility

As a foundation of public utility, Mudam is authorised to receive donations. To be tax-deductible, the annual sum of your support must be equal to or greater than 120€ and not exceed 20% of your total net income, or 1.000.000€.

American Friends of Mudam

Supporting Mudam across the Atlantic.

The independent philanthropic organisation American Friends of Mudam supports and encourages the acquisition and donation of contemporary artworks and raises funds for the museum’s exhibitions and educational programmes.
