On the Open Day, Mudam unfolds a programme of encounters, conversations and hands-on experiences that invite visitors to engage more closely with the museum’s collection, ideas and its public role. From participatory workshops to multilingual tours, the programme opens up multiple ways of experiencing contemporary art.

A participatory project inviting visitors to collectively imagine and design a “bank” for the future.
Drop-in! Weave – Knot
with Chaumière Oiseau Studio
A hands-on textile workshop exploring latch hooking as a meditative and tactile practice.
Drop-in! (Photo) Drawing Booth
with Rafaela Bermond
Visitors are drawn in real time, each encounter becoming a playful, hand-made portrait to take home.
Drop-in! Riso Birthday Collage
with Jessica Frascht
A hands-on risograph workshop inviting visitors to design a birthday card for Mudam’s 20th anniversary by cutting and layering printed elements inspired by the museum.

Forever Immigrant (Tattoo) – A participatory performance by Marco Godinho
Marco Godinho explores migration as a condition of permanence and uncertainty. Drawing on his ongoing Forever Immigrantproject, the work translates a stamped motif into a live tattoo action.

New Voices of Mudam with RYSE (Refugee Youth Support & Empowerment)
A collaborative mediation project where young participants develop and lead guided tours, sharing personal perspectives on contemporary art and the museum in their own languages.
