Dadofonic workshop at Mudam

Mudam aims to ensure an enjoyable visit for the widest possible audience. That is why we actively work to create an inclusive and barrier-free museum experience, with a particular focus on welcoming visitors with functional requirements.

To help you plan your visit in the best possible way, you can contact our Publics Department at any time.

Accessible language

You can find information about the museum and our offers in simple, accessible German in a booklet available at the museum and as a download here.

Visitors with reduced mobility

Coming from the Red Bridge

You can reach the museum via the Passerelle des Arts, a pedestrian bridge connecting the “Rout Bréck – Pafendall” interchange hub directly to Parc Dräi Eechelen.

From the tram and bus stop, follow the signs to the Passerelle des Arts and continue across the bridge to reach the park entrance and the museum within a few minutes.

The route is accessible to pedestrians, wheelchair users and cyclists.

Coming from Place de l’Europe

A path leads directly from Place de l’Europe, behind the Philharmonie building, to the museum.

At the end of Place de l’Europe, there is also a lift that takes you down to the entrance of Parc Dräi Eechelen. From there, you only need to follow the path for a few metres before reaching the park entrance and the museum.

Coming by car

A public underground car park is located near the entrance to Parc Dräi Eechelen. The maximum height clearance is 2 metres, so any vehicle not exceeding this height can enter the car park. Several spaces are reserved for visitors with reduced mobility in this car park.

Private buses cannot enter the car park. They should drop off visitors at the entrance to Parc Dräi Eechelen and use one of the nearby open-air car parks (Glacis or Foire) for the duration of the visit.

A parking space located in front of the Schuman building in Parc Dräi Eechelen is reserved for visitors with reduced mobility. It must be reserved in advance with the Publics Department.

Access to the museum

Mudam is wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs on the route between the entrance to Parc Dräi Eechelen and the museum.

Access to the museum is via the main entrance for all visitors.

Mobility in the museum

All museum spaces can be accessed by wheelchair, except for one small room in the basement of the pavilion.

The exhibition rooms are spread over three levels (0, -1 and 1). All floors are accessible by lift.

Due to changing exhibitions, some gallery spaces may be less accessible than others. However, accommodating all visitors is one of our top priorities. That is why we always ensure that all gallery spaces can be viewed by all visitors.

Wheelchair loan

On request, two manual wheelchairs are available to visitors at the reception desk.

No advance booking is required.

Group visits

Visitors on the autism spectrum

Visually impaired visitors

If the exhibitions and artworks allow it, visits for visually impaired visitors can be organised. These visitors must, however, be accompanied. Groups are limited to ten people per mediator (including chaperones).
