Social Media Internship

Mudam Luxembourg – Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean is seeking a Social Media Intern for its Communication et Engagement department.
Opened in 2006 and housed in a building designed by renowned architect Ieoh Ming Pei, Mudam is Luxembourg’s contemporary art museum. Our mission is to collect, preserve and present the most relevant contemporary art of our time and make it accessible to a wide audience. We aim to be a key player in promoting and understanding contemporary art through our exhibitions, publications, and artistic and educational programmes. Our museum has always been a place of artistic creation and collaboration with artists.
Located in Europe at the heart of a cosmopolitan country that includes 170 nationalities, Mudam strives to engage all communities and promote access to contemporary art. We aim to make the museum a lively and accessible space for all, where contemporary societal issues can be addressed and debated. We are committed to a more inclusive, tolerant and responsible world where museums play a major role in passing on heritage to future generations.
Under the supervision of the Digital and Social Media Manager, the intern is involved in the operational deployment of Mudam’s social media strategy, particularly on Instagram. They are responsible for monitoring the museum’s publication schedule and creating all necessary content.

- Creating content for the museum's social media accounts
- Managing and monitoring the social media schedule
- Monitoring and analysing posts performance and making suggestions for optimisation
- Researching and making suggestions to expand communication and improve their engagement
- Managing community relations via direct messages
General
- Researching images and photo credits
- Image processing: formatting, archiving, rights and credits
- Assistance with organising vernissages and other events
- Updating and monitoring various internal databases (CRM, etc.)
- Managing various administrative tasks
Profile
- Bachelor or master degree in communication, culture, arts
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills in English or French
- Organisational and team spirit
- Fluency in French and English; German and Luxembourgish are an asset
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools
