Writing Workshop & Performance
In the framework of Dodeka, 12 Works for 12 Cantons

As part of Dodeka – 12 works for 12 cantons, and in the spirit of Dada, writer Luce van den Bossche invites participants to explore writing beyond fixed forms. Luce will lead three experimental writing exercises.
One invites participants to compose a poem through the voice itself, using guttural sounds and vocal fragments to assemble language. Another encourages the creation of a poem from images, found footage or recordings captured on a mobile phone.
The workshop will be followed by a joint performance by artists Claudia Passeri, Catherine Lorent and Serge Ecker, collectively known as Transitus Immobilis. The trio created sHe is the future, the sculpture currently on view at the Biodiversum in Remerschen as part of Dodeka. During the performance, the sculpture will be activated through the serving of a local Eau de Vie, in keeping with its intended function.
Biographies
Luce van den Bossche is a Luxembourg-based writer. Her poetry collections "syzygies" and "sangs" were awarded the "1er prix catégorie jeunes" of the "Concours littéraire national" in 2011 and the Servais Foundation's "Prix d'encouragement" in 2016 respectively.
Transitus Immobilis is a collective project founded in 2018 by Catherine Lorent and Serge Ecker. Its title is inspired by the Latin legal maxim Immobilia situm sequuntur (“immovable property follows its location”). First presented in Vienna at the Wiener Art Foundation, the project was subsequently shown at Luxembourg Art Week in 2018 and again in 2024. Today, it brings together four artists: Serge Ecker, Catherine Lorent, Claudia Passeri and Trixi Weis. Through multidimensional installations combining sculpture, performance, music, painting, drawing, photography and video, Transitus Immobilis invites audiences to engage with works that are both sensory and participatory.
