Editors' note

Mudam Journal is a collective endeavour that offers space for exploration, artist-led perspectives and critical thinking beyond the exhibition. We invite contributors to reflect on what drives their practices and lines of inquiry: their sources, obsessions and lineages, within art and across wider society. By bringing together perspectives that may diverge or contradict one another, Mudam Journal allows tensions, complexities and unexpected connections to emerge. 

Mudam Journal exists both online and in print. Online contributions will be published on an ongoing basis, while each printed issue brings together a selection of conversations, essays, process materials, prototypes, personal archives, page-specific artist commissions and visual essays.
