Inspired by the colours and forms of the Bauhaus, we will create our own badges together. We will use three main colours: yellow, red, and blue, with black or white to transform geometric shapes into unique badges. This workshop is the perfect occasion to play with the proportions and primary colours necessary to create harmonious compositions.

Collective Intelligence
In the framework of the exhibition Radical Software: Women, Art & Computing 1960–1991

Students will create an artistic ‘composition’, an AI generated guide that they will use to then create a unique and personal artwork.

ONE-OFF PROGRAMME

School project 2024/2025 around Agnes Denes’ artwork The Living Pyramid
In collaboration with the Naturmusée

As part of the LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden, Mudam will present the iconic artwork The Living Pyramid (2015) by American artist Agnes Denes, a pioneering figure of ecological and environmental art. Conceived as a monumental sculpture with a natural life cycle, The Living Pyramid takes the form of a 9-metre-high pyramid on which grow more than two thousand flowering plants.

Mudam invites four primary school class groups (9-12 years) to participate in a school project surrounding this pyramid. The project will unfold over the course of three meetings at Mudam: two meetings in October to introduce the project, visit the park, as well as choose the plants and flowers that the students will plant in Spring 2025. The third meeting will be dedicated to planting, which will take place at the end of April/early May 2025.

EduBox

The Mudam EduBox is a file produced by the museum’s education team to enable secondary-school teachers to link their teaching to contemporary art and give students access to the works of art in the current exhibition.

Download the newest EduBox

This time, the file no longer uses an exhibition as a starting point, but rather the themes around which the exhibitions are structured. In this way, you will receive wider information about the year 2024.
