Live online interview conducted by Emanuela Mazzonis di Pralafera.

Clément Cogitore (b. 1983, Colmar, France), winner of the 2018 Marcel Duchamp Prize, uses video, film, installations and photographs to investigate the relationship between man and images, and to ‘tell of human beings’ deepest fears’. He has developed a practice that is located halfway between cinema and contemporary art, analysing visual rituals, collective memories and images ranging from the sacred to the profane, and presenting a new and immersive visual universe.
