On these very special Wednesdays, Mudam invites all its visitors to reclaim the museum in fun, convivial and joyful ways, and inhabit its spaces by taking part in our Night Fever activities. Mudam invites a local association, together with the public, to engage their bodies, brains and social skills in communal and interactive practices that differ from their usual experiences at the museum.
Contact Improvisation Dance Luxembourg’s mission is to foster community, personal growth and artistic expression through contact improvisation. We believe in the power of movement to connect people, transcend boundaries and inspire creativity. Through our events, workshops and performances, we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive space for individuals to explore the joy and freedom of movement, deepen their understanding of themselves and others and cultivate a sense of belonging within the Luxembourg dance community.
The activity will be hosted by Tarek Alnabhan, Contact Improvisation dance teacher. Beginning in 2022, he started giving CI classes in Luxembourg and organising workshops and jams, bringing together people and dancers alike. He celebrates the joy of being present through dance and connecting with others through the language of the body. He has participated in several dance and theatrical performances in Luxembourg, such as Letters from Luxembourg (theatrical movements), Moi (est) l’autre (CI performance), Touchant (CI performance for Festival des Migrations), Le Contact (CI performance sponsored by Festival des Migrations).
Muse is a dynamic not-for-profit that brings people together through the power of art and design. The organisation is dedicated to fostering creativity, cultural exchange and community integration. Its goal is to help individuals connect, learn from each other and celebrate diverse cultures. Muse offers a range of activities including art workshops, storytelling events, integration workshops, art exhibitions, educational programmes and collaborative art projects. By participating in these initiatives, members have the opportunity to develop their artistic skills, share their stories, integrate more deeply within their local community and engage in meaningful collaborations. Muse believes in the transformative power of creativity to build a more inclusive and interconnected society.
