This new appointment of Regards Croisés is dedicated to the book Tao Te King – Buch vum Wee, translated into Luxembourgish by Serge Tonnar, with illustrations by Jean-Marie Biwer (Editions Guy Binsfeld). This classical Chinese book, attributed to Lao-Tze (6th century BCE) is one of the mainstays of Asian culture, and one of the world’s most translated volumes. The 81 texts of which it is composed talk of the cohabitation between men and their relation to nature.
The evening will open with a meditation session led by Magali Lehners, a yoga teacher at the Jivamukti Yoga Luxembourg studio, followed by a reading of extracts from Tao Te King by Serge Tonnar, and ending with an exchange between Jean-Marie Biwer and Serge Tonnar.
Places being limited, you can follow Regards Croisées on Facebook.
