One Tuesday each month, we open our doors to young people with a passion for printmaking: whether you’re curious or already have experience, join us in our Printmaking Lab to explore the world of printmaking.

Bring your ideas and projects to our studio and our team will guide you through every step. A skilled mediator will be present to offer technical advice and personalised support to bring your creations to life. Together we will explore different techniques and experiment with our printing tools: risograph printing, screenprinting, lithography, etc.

With Léa Marchet

Explore the art of engraving using two unexpected kitchen tools: milk carton packaging and a pasta machine. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll carve designs into aluminum from packaging, ink them and print them using a pasta machine. Since the printing plate can only be used a few times, each print becomes a unique and delicate black-and-white artwork. You'll leave with your precious prints and all the knowledge needed to recreate this technique at home.

Biography
A curious Jane of all trades, Léa Marchet trained in applied arts and discovered engraving at the École Estienne in Paris. However, she only returned to it later, during a professional training while working as a freelance graphic designer. Due to the high cost of traditional engraving, she sought an alternative that would allow her to practice affordably, anywhere, and without chemicals. Through continuous experimentation, she developed "kitchen gravure"—a technique that repurposes recycled materials and everyday kitchen tools. It’s hard to imagine that such a simple, makeshift process is behind her intricately detailed and poetic small-format creations. Now based in Brussels, she shares her work on social media and conducts workshops across Europe.
