In conjunction with Luxembourg Art Week, Mudam is hosting a programme of performances by artists taking part in the Freigeister exhibition, some of whom will have participating guests.

In association with her recent series eponymous of drawings presented at the Freigeister exhibition, Sophie Jung will be performing a piece in which language plays a key role.

Sophie Jung (b. 1982, Luxembourg) has held solo exhibitions at the Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’Art Contemporain, Luxembourg (2020), the Kunstmuseum Basel (2018), and at Blain Southern, London (2018). In 2016 and 2019 she was a laureate of the Swiss Art Awards and received the Manor Kunstpreis in 2018. Sophie Jung lives and works in London and Basel.
