Mudam invites German artist Cosima von Bonin (b. 1962, Mombasa, Kenya) for a major monographic exhibition inhabited by cartoon and animal characters, including a site-specific intervention in the Grand Hall of the museum. Renowned for her sculptural installations that evoke pop culture, cartoons or the animal realm and the humorous look she brings to societal issues such as consumerism, mass entertainment or contemporary art, the German artist will present works produced over the past ten years alongside new commissions and well-known pieces.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as Toronto-based drag queens Mary Messhausen and proddy produzentin, accompanied by Buzz, will perform Thonk Piece: 80% Twins to kick off Cosima von Bonin’s exhibition at 19:30–20:30.

Free drinks until 21:00
