Lumen printing is the process of making a camera-less photograph using silver gelatin paper and sunlight for creating one of a kind portraits of plants and flowers. During this workshop participants will experience the magic of analogue photography combined with modern-day image manipulation technology to generate digital color variations of their initial Lumen prints.

Biography
Séverine Peiffer, artiste photographe, vit et travaille au Luxembourg. Sa démarche artistique s'inspire des recherches (techniques et esthétiques) des pionniers photographes du 19ème et 20ème siècle. Séverine s'exprime par le biais de divers procédés tel le collodion humide, le photogramme, le chimigramme ainsi que les techniques de tirage au papier salé, albumen ou encore cyanotype. Ses œuvres aux allures pictorialistes ou sinon abstraites et expérimentales témoignent de sa passion pour une photographie lente et faite main, avec comme thème de prédilection la fragilité de la condition humaine.
