The Modules programme is an immersion into the world of contemporary art, offering young people the opportunity to work with artists. Through multiple sessions, participants explore new techniques, broaden their understanding of art, and develop their own artistic skills. For this module, we have invited Séverine Peiffer.

Make your very own textile design!
30.03.2025 | 14:00 – 17:00
With Séverine Peiffer

During this workshop, participants will learn how to create a camera-less photograph (photogram) with the help of sugar cubes, threads, pins and other ordinary objects placed on light-sensitive material coated with cyanotype chemicals. After experimenting on paper, participants will chose to produce their final design on a cotton tote bag or silk scarf. Cyanotype is a historical photographic printing technique discovered in the 19th century widely known for its Prussian blue color.

Biography
