Karolina Markiewicz and Pascal Piron (b. 1976 and b. 1981, Luxembourg) started collaborating as an artistic duo in 2013, after having had experiences in the fields of theatre and philosophy, and the visual arts and painting, respectively. Keeping the relationship between theatre, visual arts and cinema as an established reference point, Markiewicz and Piron have begun to produce short films focused on the figure of the individual and the role of humans in society. The two artists are interested in investigating the social, cultural and political questions that arise from the uninterrupted migration effect that is modifying the social dynamics of our generation.
