Learn how to work with fluid paints and immerse yourself in colour and the random forms which occur on the canvas when using various pouring techniques.
After experimenting and creating individual pieces, workshop participants will collaborate on a collective artwork inspired by Agnieszka Kurant’s current exhibition.
i&i (inspire & be inspired) is a Luxembourg-based artist duo composed of Ivan Moirinho (who is Portuguese) and Irina Galoyan (who is Russian-Luxembourgish). Both are multi-disciplinary artists who inspire each other to pursue their dreams, while exploring and expanding their own artistic boundaries.
They started by exhibiting analogue and digital photography and showcasing their work in various venues from the Mesa Verde restaurant to Schlaiffmillen. Their six-months residency at Konschteck Art Centre allowed them to explore various artistic mediums further, including painting, epoxy resin and textile and develop more conceptual installations that impact all the senses such as ‘The Rabbit Hole – a dark room experience’.
Driven by a passion for creating, the pair are self-taught artists who believe in the creative/artistic potential of every human being. Making art accessible to everyone – not only as a passive observer but also as an active participant, co-creator and learner – is one of their core aspirations.
