The educational programme is built around the museum’s exhibitions and collection and comprises guided tours, lectures, workshops, small publications and school projects.
Schools
Visit Mudam with your class (early, primary and high school education). We offer interactive guided tours, adapted to the students' educational level. Different languages and themes are available.
Cycle 1
The Shapes of Mudam
Squares, triangles, circles? So many shapes! During a short tour of the museum galleries, we invite children to discover the hidden circles, triangles, and other forms found in the museum’s architecture and artworks. During the workshop, children will turn their discoveries into artworks of their own using geometric stamps.

Mudam Architecture in Light – Drawing with Shadows
Come and explore the world of architecture through games of light and shadow! During a walk through the museum, children are invited to look closely at how light, shadows and reflections can reshape and transform a space and its forms. In this workshop, children will experiment with drawing shadows using stencils and will draw inspiration from the museum’s architecture.

From Line to Form
Inspired by Ruth Asawa's close observation of nature, this workshop invites children to explore shapes, lines and forms in three dimensions. During a guided gallery visit, children first discover the artworks and sketch something that catches their eye – a detail, shape or motif. Back in the studio, their sketches come to life in wire. Lines bend, twist and take shape as children playfully transform their ideas onto small sculptures. At the end, all the sculptures are brought together on a dedicated wall, creating a growing collective installation inspired by Asawa’s practice and the unique ideas of each child.

The Store of Ideas
Activation of The Shop. Saito Takako’s Extra Do It Yourself Shop "You and Me".
What if a work of art wasn’t just something to look at, but something to experience? With Takako Saito’s Extra Do It Yourself Shop “You and Me”, participants discover an installation in which everyone is invited to take part. By handling the objects and bringing the workthem to life, they explore the concepts of play, creativity and interaction, whilst discovering the artist’s world.

Explore the museum and its exhibitions, followed by a lively exchange of ideas and a question-and-answer session with students. The programme aims to introduce students to contemporary art while encouraging critical thinking and developing their confidence in expressing their ideas. The visit is tailored to the students’ educational level, with a focus on observation, interpretation and active participation.
