Various groups of young people endlessly wander through disparate landscapes in Eduardo Williams’ cerebral meditation on the contemporary human condition. Defying narrative conventions, the film operates more as a series of atmospheric narratorial threads in which characters – played by queer non-actors discovered on location – merge bouts of scripted dialogue with improvisation. The highly inventive camerawork builds towards a spectacular climax atop a Peruvian mountain.
