Martin Szekely

Given his considerable experience of industrial design, Martin Szekely (b. 1956, Paris) has decided to return to the sources of furniture. His creations are intended to be economical rather than minimalist, combining cutting edge technology with conceptual simplicity. He has created purified structures to welcome the public (Lobby), whether seating, ledges or display cases, that combine the utility of their role as a support with sober neutrality. His Soundlab consists of four seats covered in black leather, placed face-to-face. The visitor is invited to curl up in them and let himself be carried away by sound and music programmes without being cut off from his direct environment.
