Marc Scozzai

For several years, Marc Scozzai (b. 1980, Luxembourg) has been mainly interested in the transcription and perception of the notion of landscape through the video. For him, the landscape is more than an object of representation, it is a space that is indistinguishably linked to the body and experience, a site of memory and knowledge which essentially integrates the notion of time.

In the video Sans Titre (Untitled), the blurred, almost abstract image of a path is distinguishable. The arrival of movement on the pictorial plane, with the apparition of initially indiscernible black shapes, radically changes the quality of the image and the perception of its extent in space and time.
