The film Chungking Dream is a portrait of Chungking Mansion, a huge building complex in Hong Kong, which is home to countless guest rooms, cheap hotels, shops and restaurants. A city within a city, it is its own multicultural microcosm, in constant motion. Jean-Louis Schuller (b. 1979, Luxembourg) is in particular interested in the ceaseless coming and going of those in search of a better life.
